With four rounds to go in the Menorcan championship, CD Menorca are eight points clear at the top.

The Mahon based outfit have won 13 and drawn three of their 17 games so far, losing just once all season.

That puts them eight ahead of second placed CE Alaior, who do have a game in hand, as CD Menorca will have a bye in one of the final four rounds.

A point behind Alaior are CE Ferreries, with UD Mahon a further three points back to round off the top four.

Those finishing in the top four will progress to the promotion play-offs with their equivalents from Ibiza.

CD Migjorn are three points behind fourth place and are the only other club with a realistic chance of making the top four.

At the other end of the table, every team has at least registered a victory, and it looks like a battle between Atletico Villacarlos and Sporting Mahon to avoid the wooden spoon.
